Know VTU Regulation; Award of Class of Degree

B.E. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology shall be awarded to the candidates who have passed all the stipulated examination from 1st to 8th semesters. However, declaration of the class of the degree shall be based on the performance of the candidate from 5th to 8th semester examinations taken together. M.Tech. Master’s Degree in Technology shall be awarded to the candidates who have passed all the stipulated examination from 1st to 4th semesters. However, declaration of the class of the degree shall be based on the performance of the candidate from 1st to 4th semester examinations taken together.

Hostel & discipline

• No outsiders are allowed to stay in the hostel premises. • Outsiders should enter the hostel premises only with prior permission from the hostel authorities. Visitors details to be written in visitors book. • Outsiders are not allowed to take food in hostel mess. If any outsider is a regular boarder of mess, this may immediately be reported to the warden by hostel residents. • Maintain utmost discipline and silence in the hostel. Remember that, Your stay in hostel is for the purpose of studying. • If anybody violates the rules and discipline, he will be rusticated immediately.

He has obtained his Masters in Power Electronics from PDA College of Engineering, Kalaburagi during 1990 and stood First to the university.
