The western culture should be harmoniously clubbed to enhance the empowerment of women in cohesive manner.’ Opined renowned cardiologist and noted writer Dr Vijayalaxmi Balekundri. She was delivering the key note address on the occasion of Women’s Day celebration at Proudhadevaraya Institute of Technology, Hosapete. She further said, ‘ We have Ardhanaarishwar concept, i.e. equity in participation in all affairs of life is well ensured. However it is sad that it has been forgotten. To rejuvenate the same, we need the women should be educated and be economically independent yet caring towards the society which are in tune with the women’s basic genre. Women should care for her health which she usually neglects in the multitasking activity
